Jan Deckers

Jan Deckers studied religious studies, theology, and philosophy at the Catholic University of Leuven before obtaining a PhD in ecological ethics at the University of St Andrews. He works in the School of Medicine at Newcastle University. He has published on a wide range of topics, including animal ethics, reproductive ethics, and ethics of artificial intelligence. In 2016, he published Animal (De)liberation: Should the Consumption of Animal Products Be Banned? with Ubiquity Press.
